One of our purposes as a regional church is to provide opportunities for our people to really get to know one another and minister together in our church. It is clear that the early church in Acts 2 in the New Testament viewed fellowship as a very important part of the ministry of the church. In fact the apostle Paul makes it very clear that we are to view our church as part of the spiritual body of Christ with many different parts in it, that need to relate together and minister together.
To accomplish this we have periodic Family Fellowships, and Adult Fellowships. They include several fellowship dinners a year including a Resurrection Sunday Breakfast and a Thanksgiving Dinner on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. We also have fellowship activities away from the church facilities such as a Valentine Banquet, or a Hayride Cookout, or Picnics.
Each summer we field a Co-ed Softball team in a recreational league in Smithville, Missouri, that takes place on Monday evenings in June and July.
Our service times are:
- Creative Bible Learning Centers: 9:30 a.m.
- Sunday Morning Worship: 10:35 a.m.
